By now, I’m sure you have realized that the planning phase of your wedding is no easy task by any means! You really need the right people in your corner, so that you can enjoy the engagement period and not be overwhelmed and stressed by everything that is coming your way. Some things you will probably expect to run into, but I’m sure there have been some unexpected things come up already. This is why I want to make your process of finding the right photographer as simple and transparent as can be. Before you hire me, you will know exactly what you will get!

I’m genuinely interested in attracting people that strongly connect with my work and are willing to fully trust that I will create something meaningful and everlasting. That’s why the first step is always so incredibly important! Am I the right photographer for you?!? Have the photos you have seen resonated with you, and do you envision yourself in them?? Are you drawn to the warm film-like tones, the intimacy that I capture, and the authentic moments of joy? If you’re looking for heavily posed photos, I am probably not the best one for the job. If you’re like someone that ticks off every shot from a pinterest board, that’s probably not me either; and that’s totally ok! You deserve exactly what you are looking for, without having to change for someone. With that being being said, if you like what you’ve seen so far, then we are about to become great friends!!

This will give you a good gauge in regards to what is typically offered at each tier, based on hours of coverage, engagement session, and a second photographer to name a few. Side note: you don’t have to tell me right away what coverage best fits your needs when you initially reach out, we will work through this together to figure out what you’re looking for exactly based on the location(s) of your wedding, guest count, hours of coverage, etc.

I also want to note that I have a team of photographers throughout the States who work with me under my brand to shoot a limited number of weddings each year for the dates that I’m already booked for. On the chance that I’m booked for your wedding, I will share with you more info about my associate shooters to see if one of them is a good fit for you. The photographers on my team are a select group who share the same stylistic qualities as me when it comes to capturing authentic moments and being your number one hype-man or women.

The next step is to see if I’m available for your date! Send me an email through my contact form and I will respond back to you within twenty-four hours. Make sure to fill all the necessary boxes, because this allows me to get to know you a little better up front and it gives me a good ideas of what exactly it is that you’re looking for. Seriously, these are some of my favorite emails to receive because it’s the first point of contact with new couples who are ecstatic to get this whole thing going! I love hearing all about how you both first met, how the proposal went down, or any little quirky things about your relationship.

Once I receive your email, I will reply with all the raves and emotion, because this is truly how I feel!! I will set up a time that best works for you to briefly chat over the phone to introduce myself directly, explain any part of the process in more detail, and answer any other questions that you may want to ask. After that, it’s incredibly simple to lock in your date.

I handle all of our emails that we will have, contracts, payments, etc through an online platform called HoneyBook. There you will receive the proposal of services, contract, and payment schedule for your wedding. This will be your hub to stay on top of everything! There is a $1400 retainer fee to book and the remaining balance is split into 4 payments by default. Once everything is signed and paid for, we are ready to take off on this journey!!

Thinking about an engagement session..? I want to be able to meet you in person before the wedding day to capture this incredible milestone in your relationship, share some in-person insights on things you may expect on the wedding day when it comes to the photos, and get you feeling more confident in front of the camera. By the wedding day, those nerves are much less present because you are familiar with how I move, direct, and interact with you. Everyone in the photos you see throughout my website have, in some way, shape, or form, always said that they felt a bit of nerves in front of the camera. However; as you can see, I will always showcase your best self!!

On some occasions, due to conflicting schedules or the timing of the wedding, an engagement session months in advance just isn’t possible. Not to worry, as I have have an alternative that I’ve used many times. Often, I’ll arrive to my destination at least a day in advance. That being said, if your wedding day is on Saturday, we can potentially meet up before the rehearsal dinner Friday and do the session. We get a chance to meet before the big day and still capture this monumental moment hours before you get married. It’s a win-win.

Sometimes, the engagement session is completely out of the question, but I still show up prepared and ready to rock things with you guys. In scenarios like this, we will hop on a FaceTime call and I will walk you through some of the key things I would have discussed during the initial engagement session.

The moment we have been waiting for!! By this point in time I will be fully aware of your likes and dislikes, the details of the day you want me to pay extra attention to, and the key unique moments that I need to be aware of. We have created a thoughtful and strategic timeline of the day that pays extra attention to “LIGHT”. By now, I have explained how important light is for the “getting ready room” (make sure you are near a big window for some flattering natural light), the possible outdoor ceremony (if the ceremony is around the time when the sun is at its peak, make sure the area is shaded, otherwise, the photos will be completely blown out by the harsh light), and that perfect golden hour that we will sneak away for to capture some incredible photos (the best time for those golden sunset photos is about 20 minutes before the sun sets). You will feel confident that I’m prepared to handle any situation that is thrown our way! Rain or shine, your wedding day is happening, and it’ll be in the right hands.

Word of mouth and social media are the driving forces behind my business, so it’s no surprise that you will see sneak peaks from me within a day or so after you have tied the knot. I want you to have incredible images to share with the world right away, instead of semi blurry iPhone photos.

From there, your full gallery will be done between 4-6 weeks from your wedding day.

No travel fees for weddings in the Unites states, seriously?

Yes! 80% of my weddings are travel based. I love being on the road capturing stories of couples who are madly in love. I'll use my travel points to good use on you ✌️☺️

what about the engagement session? How does the travel aspect work there?

I will share my travel schedule with you, so you know where I will be around what dates. Many of my couples book their engagement session slot with me during the times that I will be in or around their city to avoid any travel fees.

what are the deliverables?

You get all the edited files in high resolution JPEG format. Easily downloadable though your personal website with no watermarks four to six weeks after the wedding. You will see highlights of the wedding through my social media plataforms usually days after the wedding.

How many wedding images do you deliver?

I typically average 600-1500 fully edited images depending on the wedding day. If there is multi-day coverage the amount will be much higher. That being said, I never focus on a number as I shoot. I’m too much in the moment for that. I will capture everything required to properly tell your story.

Do I need a shotlist?

Nope! One month before the wedding day you’ll receive a questionnaire that will fill in some gaps for me and it will also include the only shortlist I really need. It is for the groupings during family photos. There are recommendations about what people normally do and an area to fill in what’s unique to your family. 

Should we hire a second photographer?

It is not always necessary, but I highly recommend if its in your budget. A second photographer adds another perspective to the wedding and can ease the stress when there is a situation that requires me to be in two places at once. The cost is $500.

Of course! You’re welcome to post your photos wherever you would like. You can do anything with them!! They are your memories! I do kindly ask that when posting online you tag and credit me in the caption. By doing so you are supporting me more than you will ever know. My business is primarily run on referrals, so you spreading the good word keeps me alive doing what I love.

DO you backup your images?

Yes, I have an entire system in place. I have about 4 given copy's of your photos at any given time in case there is a corrupt memory card, bag gets stolen, or house burns down (knock on wood). You will have 90 days to back up your photos once they are delivered via your personal gallery. You are responsible for backing them up during this time. External storage is more affordable than ever, so if needed, I will give you suggestions on how to best go about the safekeeping of your new photos. 

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes!! There is nothing more satisfying than holding a tangible piece of your wedding day! Sure, we have photos on our screens, but print still holds a little soft spot. This book will be your first family heirloom, that will be passed down the line for generations to come. I offer a wide range of luxury leather albums that I can share with you.

Tell me about weekend coverage?

This is perfect if your wedding has multiple day events or if you are planning to have a weekend filled party with some of your closest friends and family. The days leading up to the wedding day are equally as important, why not capture them too and have an incredible final gallery to show for it.
