Summer Barn Wedding at Sycamore Farms by Nashville Wedding Photographer

The day started in Arrington, TN at a luxury barn outside the city of Nashville. Sycamore Farms has definitely been one of my favorite barn venues in Nashville, because there is so much space on the land to photograph; combine that with a couple like Sairi & Jose and it’s a perfect match!

The stylish couple decided to invite their closest family and friends to this 200+ guest celebration, during a beautiful summer day in Tennessee. The Nashville venue features some really thoughtful designed spaces for the guys and the girls to get ready. After all the fun, games, laughs, and tears the couple decided to skip the first look and do a first touch outside the barn instead. They wanted to save that special moment for when Sairi walked down the aisle, but this created for a really special time of prayer and intimate moment where I was able to snap some intimate photos.

From there, the wedding was on the island of the property surrounded by a beautiful lake. The ceremony was nice and short, because it was a very hot day but it proved us with a perfect backdrop for the I do’s. Once it was all done we walked over to the venues 100 year old Sycamore tree to do their couples photos, bridal party and families. As always, this is definitely one of my favorite times of the day because I heavily get to interact with my couple one on one. During this time I’m all about giving enough direction so that everyone feels comfortable, but never too much where things start to feel stiff or fake! The last thing we would ever want.

The rest of the night was a blast!! The couple comes from a latino heritage so there were several special traditions that took place, before the the lights turned down and the music started. From there it was non- stop action until the sparkler exit on the front entrance of the property. Take a look below!
