The guy that is cheesin' extra hard above, sitting in that perfect picturesque moment on those sweet rocks, is me. I remember that this was taken a few months back in San Diego after a sleepless 37 hours in-between Georgia, Tennessee, and California — a crazy story that involves a couple session in ATL in the pouring rain and flying to Cali to prep for an amazing wedding and road trip with some good photo friends. But, we will save that one for another time. Basically, I tend to stay busy around the clock; year around. I'm a big believer in that if you want something you've never had, you have to be willing to do something you've never done. And for me, that means that I will never stop chasing opportunities.

Fast forward, I'm a blessed 27 year old wedding photographer from Mexico City, currently based in Nashville, TN. I have been reppin' Music City for some time, and I love what this place stands for. My wife Jessica and I moved back here with our four year old son, Kai, after finishing our undergrad in Tampa, FL. We recently bought our first home here, after searching the crazy real estate market for almost 7 months. Not kidding you about this nightmare! I was about to convince my wife of just getting that fancy condo that I wanted downtown instead. Luckily, we found our dream starter-home in a hip neighborhood close to all of the good local coffee shops and minutes away from downtown (East Nashville, if you're a local). However, still trying to figure out the home-ownership life. If anyone wants to help with any remodeling, hit us up. We need help. Seriously. 😅

My time away from weddings is spent with the people that mean the most to me. My life companions are the one you see below on those scrolling images. They fill me with life and great joy, no matter what we're doing. We could be sitting on the couch at home using our mushroom power boosts and throwing turtle shells at each other while we play Mario Kart on the Switch (Kai's current obsession), enjoying the latest This Is Us episode on Hulu while our souls are desperately trying to contain themselves from filling our living room with tears, or exploring some of nature's beauty while we try and stay active. You'll see Kai and I bringing our soccer balls to have a little pick-up game at some point, while my wife Jessica drafts for her latest illustrations. I'm literally married to someone so talented that it blows my mind. Seriously, let me just give you one example, because it cracks me up! Sometimes, she sketches bold, lively illustrations heavily based in Japanese aesthetic (her favorite) of us as a family for Kai on his lunch napkins for school. Um, Hello! Are you serious?!? I can hardly draw stick people.

Anyways, so why share all of this with you? I think it's extremely important that you are able to get a better representation of who I am as an individual. I want to keep it real. There are a vast number of photographers out there on Instagram that can take a good picture and capture a story, but I want you to feel like I'm a close friend that you can trust, accompanying and guiding you through one of the most important moments of your lives. After all, you will be stuck with your photographer for the entire wedding process. Why not make it the most memorable?
